M&R Crank Pencil Sharpener

This M&R Crank Pencil Sharpener is a precision sharpening tool perfect for sharpening your graphite and coloured pencils. Desk mounted, this pencil sharpener is compatible with pencils between 8 and 11.2mm diameter. It has a removable drawer that you can empty to get rid of sharpenings. This sharpener model also includes an auto stop feature to prevent oversharpening and an adjustment for long or short points.

This sharpener is not suitable for chalk, crayons, pastel pencils and soft colouring pencils as they can clog up or damage the cutter blades.

If you find that a helical sharpener isn’t working as it should it’s quite possible that there is loose lead caught in the blade. Disassemble and gently clean then blade and your pencil sharpener should work effectively again.
