Gamblin Gamvar Varnish Satin will saturate the colours in your painting and dries to a less glossy sheen compared to original Gamvar.

Gamblin Gamvar Varnish are a range of professional quality varnishes that give artists an easy way to make their paintings look better. Applying Gamvar will saturate colour, unify the tones in your painting and also give it a protective final finish. It is virtually odourless and can be safely removed using Gamsol. Apply with a brush when the thickest applications of paint on your painting are completely dry and firm. Gamvar was developed in collaboration with the National Gallery of Art.
