These sketchbooks are bound in a durable, yet flexible premium faux leather with elasticated closure. Their binding means these books can lie flat, allowing you to create drawings and paintings that cover two pages. They accept watercolour, pencil, pen and ink beautifully. Viviva Cotton Sketchbooks are finished with round edges and also have a paper holding slot in the back cover.
Handmade cotton rag paper contains small blemishes which are part of the papermaking process and enhance the appeal of the paper.

Poor paper
A sad offering. I bought this for a holiday painting. Disappointed the paper was poor , pilling a real issue even with one gentle erasing of pencil outline .

There is not much one can say about this except the cover gives the item a look of quality. However, the paper is dreadful, although it's of decent guage and appears to have a good texture, it detests erasers and don't even think of using masking tape on it! I only use it for note making just to fill it. I'm surprised it is still offered for sale to be honest.
