The Canson Saunders Waterford Art Book is an A5 spiral bound sketchbook that contains 40 pages of 300gsm Saunders Waterford natural white watercolour paper. This paper has a NOT (Cold Pressed) texture that is suitable for a wide range of watercolour painting techniques.

Saunders Waterford paper is an exceptional watercolour paper that is manufactured traditionally on a cylinder mould machine. Its high quality means that this paper stands up well to even the most intensive watercolour techniques. Made from 100% cotton, each sheet complies with conservation standards and is buffered with calcium carbonate to protect your artwork from discolouration. The natural wool felts used in its manufacture give it a distinctive random texture. Its surface is also sized with gelatine to strengthen it.

The paper is held in a spiral bound, hard cover sketchbook. The cover is finished in blue-grey fabric and has a large elastic strip for closure. This sketchbook also includes a pocket inside the back cover, which is perfect for holding onto tickets, receipts, collaging materials and other paper ephemera.
