List of materials

Paper: If you have some favourite brand of watercolour paper, by all means, use it. Hot Pressed paper is NOT recommended. 100% cotton 140 pound Rough (Grain Torchon) paper - Baohong Masters Choice, Saunders or Arches, size around from 11 x 15 to 15 x 15 inches, depending on your preference.

Brushes: Round paintbrush (or mop) squirrel, goat, or equivalent (approximately #12) • Round sharp paintbrush (or rigger, liner) (approximately #4) • Flat strong brush for watercolour, approximately 1 1/2 inch width (3.5 cm) or bigger. If you have any favourite brush set, feel free to use it. Asian calligraphy brushes are very welcome (goat, rat, etc.)
