Sentimental attachment to this rough paper - I found a 30-year-old pad when clearing the loft and couldn`t resist a little doodle....that was 3 years ago .and I have been painting almost-daily ever since.
Although I now use all sorts of paper, I do keep coming back to this Langton Rough, as I seem to produce my best work on it.
The right amount of tooth?... the right weight?.... the right shade of white.....I don`t know, but it`s just perfect for me.
I know stretching is not strictly necessary, but I do it anyway to be certain my paper won`t cockle if I use a lot of water - and anyway, I enjoy that preparation time, using gummed paper and a strong plywood board.2 of 2 people found this review helpful. Did you?Great value
