The da Vinci Artists Brush factory produces brushes in an overwhelming diversity of shapes, sizes and uses. The company had a clearly defined role from the very beginning, committed to positioning the da Vinci name as a quality brand, not only in Europe, but around the world.
Da Vinci took the pioneering decision to register the name of perhaps one of the world's greatest geniuses and artists, Leonardo da Vinci, early on in the company's timeline in 1952. The adoption of this name was an excellent basis on which to build their reputation as a manufacturer of quality artists's brushes. Several other cornerstones of progress have been earned by the company as it has progressed over the past several decades. For example, the decision at the beginning of the 1990s to pool resources to develop a mechanised production system.
The company's maxim since its inception has been to use the best materials and traditional craftmanship together with the adoption of the latest mechanised production processes to produce the highest quality range of artists' brushes. This philosophy remains at the heart of the company today.
